Jardim
A moradia é ladeada por um jardim lávico, no qual o negro do basalto
triturado e das pedras lisas da costa, bem como o avermelhado da bagacina
contrastam com o verde dos salgueiros e das camélias ou do colorido das rosas e
das hortências. Outros pormenores, como a antiga pia de lavar roupa,
transformada em lago outonal, o viveiro de suculentas ou o cantinho do duende,
procuram dar um ar contemporâneo ao espaço, sem nunca esquecer os elementos
identitários do passado.
Garden
The accomodation is flanked by a lavic garden, in which the crushed black basalt and the flat stones of
the coast, just like the red of the bagacina that contrasts with the green of
the willow trees and the camélias or of the Bright coloured roses and hydrangeas.
Other details, like the old clothes washing sink, transformed into a lake autumnal,
the succulent nursery or the elf, try to give a more contemporary look to the
space, without forgetting the identifier elements from the past.
No terreno há uma horta biológica com produtos hortícolas da época,
plantas aromáticas e árvores de fruto, com destaque para o limoeiro e para as
bananeiras que lhe dão um aspeto amplo e tropical. Os hóspedes da Casa do
Girassol podem utilizar livremente os produtos hortícolas e a fruta disponíveis
durante a sua estadia. Sirva-se à vontade e desfrute de mais este presente que
temos para si.
Vegetable garden
In the field there is a biological vegetable garden with vegetable
products of the season, aromatic plants and fruit trees, with emphasis to the
lemon tree and the banana tress that promote a wide and tropical aspect. The
guests of the Sunflower Guest House na freely use the vegetable products and
